Crime Free Community Program

ERGS Properties is dedicated to providing safe and healthy communities for our residents to make their homes.   As of October, 2008, ERGS Properties has been certified participants in the Reno Crime Free Multi Housing Program (CFMH).  Reno's CFMH provides a partnership between thr Reno Police Department, ERGS Properties' management team, and residents of our communities to foster a safe and desirable place to live.

ERGS Properties successfully completed the three phases required for the Reno CFMH certification:

  • Management Training
  • Security Assessment
  • Resident Safety/Crime Watch Social

Through its participation in the Reno CFMH Program, ERGS Properties' management team is now more informed as to spotting illegal activity and has implemented several preventative measures.   With the use of monthly "calls for services" reports provided by the Reno Police Department, community managers can now more easily determine where problem residents reside and can take swift action.  In addition, ERGS Properties has added a "Crime Free Community" clause to its lease agreement, making it easier to evict residents who engage in criminal activity on or around the community.
