The Sierra Sage golf course features wide fairways lined with native brush, small greens and water hazards on six holes.

Hole 14, a 413-yard, par 4, requires a carry of 175 yards over the lake to a dogleg right fairway, then an approach shot to an elevated, bi-level green.

The front nine holes were built in 1960 and the back nine were built in 1970. In 1998, the irrigation system was upgraded, holes 8 and 11 were redesigned, new greens were installed on holes 4, 6 and 15, the driving range was reconstructed and new forward tees were added.
